FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What we know, what we have not decided yet, and how to begin.

Who is Indigo Sable for?
Women founders and business owners. Whether you run a young company or an established firm, if you own and are building a business, this house is meant for you. There are no age requirements and no revenue or wealth thresholds.
Which industries?
All of them. Part of the value is sitting with women who build in very different fields — professional services, health and wellness, creative work, retail, food, technology, nonprofits and more.
Where is it based?
We are beginning in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Gatherings are planned for hosted spaces around the region.
Is there a physical clubhouse?
Not yet. Indigo Sable has no physical premises at this stage, and we will not claim one until it exists.
What happens at Indigo Sable?
The house is built around curated dinners, peer conversations, shared learning and cultural experiences — and the relationships that continue after the first introduction. See the proposed formats; none are scheduled yet.
Is membership open? What does it cost?
Membership is still being shaped. No fees have been set, nothing is on sale, and no benefits are being promised before they exist.
How do I get involved?
Start by introducing yourself. Introductions are received by Shinavia McKinney and Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown through Wolf & Velvet™. Please mention Indigo Sable and what you would want from a founder circle.
Is this part of The Future Knows Her Name?
No. Both sit within the Wolf & Velvet™ portfolio, but Indigo Sable is a separate community — not a tier, upgrade or next step of The Future Knows Her Name.
